I currently serve as the founder and technical director of my own one person consulting firm and have spent my career working with and on behalf of government agencies to develop technically robust stormwater compliance and watershed managements strategies. Within this broad and evolving field, I have focused much of the last decade on the application of computational tools, specifically GIS and hydrologic modeling, to support stormwater programs across California. Most recently I have developed a series of novel approaches to support the development watershed management plans, TMDL implementation plans, and stormwater resource plans in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the Central Valley. Concurrently, I am working to develop, design, prototype, and implement novel technologies to enhance the efficiency of water sample collection and the analyses or diagnostic tools used to characterize conditions.
