I feel that complex marine and water resource management issues can be most effectively addressed through a dynamic interdisciplinary approach. While my area of focus is hydrology and surface water quality, I have spent my academic and professional career working to expand the breadth of my technical training and experiences. I feel that I am uniquely equipped to work across historical discipline boundaries and address challenges that require competency and fluency in an array of often disparate fields ranging from hydrology to microbiology, coastal processes, marine dynamics, hydrogeology, or environmental economics and policy.
